R-5  I was leaving the yard with the gleaner had the wheel clocked well to the right  and my steering wouldnt turn back to the left went forward and back while turning.  The wheels were still locked to the right.  I cracked the lines back by the steering cylinder to see if any air was present as my reservoir was rather low before refilling.   Under the cab there was oil leaking took the steering column apart  had a hose pissing ever so fine.  My question would such a little pin hole prevent it from turning?

Since 1979, on the N-series, I have never ever had one of those steering orbitrols removed to fix anything. They were/are that reliable. So, it's a sure thing you need to fix the leaking hose, right ?? Fix the hose and if you still have a problem, the hose wasn't it.

Thanks Dr  the hose is in the trk to be dropped off in the morning.  I work in town so I need to find all my options as Im limited on my day hrs to get things figured out.  Its tough to farm while working in town but that all I have ever wanted to do.
