It's been a cold windy start to fall, so I threw the heat houser on, first time It's been on since I sold it. Still fits well.

Also finally painted the wheels....10 years in the making.

In addition to Heat Houser there was another brand-named Comfort or Comfort Cover.  They were made out of canvas.  Worked fairly well pushing the heat back to the operator.   The windshield cut down on the wind.  The "good old days" no A/C, heaters or cabs.  I think they could also be fitted around a picker.

Dad never had one of those, we just put heavier clothes on when picking corn or plowing snow. Would have been nice to have one.

Ditto AC720.  We never had any money for no fancy heat houser.  Dress heavy and come inside and warm up and then go back outside and do it over again.  Never got to experience this "amenity". Oh well, thanks for the pic anyway.

I'll be real with ya, this garage NEEDS torn down. I'd like to build a 2 stall garage plus 30x40 shop in it's place. It's a dirt floor stick build on crumbling CMU block. The whole thing leans one way and I think the only reason it hasn't fallen over is because it's built like a brick you know what. The tractor barley fits and I have no room to work on anything.

Grandpa had a heat houser for the 17 when he had it.   I certainly haven’t asked permission to rut through the basement at their estate for it now the 17 is mine. I feed everyday with an open station 6080.  I’d rather just add  layer or 2.
