Good evening fellow AC owners. Does anyone know of another source for Vansickle Persian Orange #1 in aerosol cans. I contacted Yesterday’s Tractor Parts this afternoon trying to buy some paint to pre-paint some smaller parts that might not get good coverage before a full paint. The person I talked to at Yesterday’s told me they were out and the paint was no longer available. If some one knows of another source I would be great full if you would share the information.

Not a fan of that brand as it will soon turn that funky pink in the u.v light just as they stated.

I personally have better luck out of the Tallman's rattle can paint.....used alot of it. I like the way the gallons spray when used appropriately, again for inexpensive paint. Found the fade isn't too bad and even better if you use thier catalyst harder. Both usually very close together in color for touch up work....even if catalyst has been used.

The Herschell Adams line is still decent as well, I belive they are affiliated with Van Sickle in some manner.

All just my two cents on over the counter inexpensive equipment enamels in A.C. colors.

The AGCO paint (Valspar) is definitely worth the extra cost. The Tisco paint is absolute junk!!!

Yes Agco still has PO1 in spray cans. That’s interesting about van sickle though because we are starting to stock sparex paint at work and it’s vansickle. Have had no trouble getting PO1 from them.

From going to shows over the years, I find there is a huge difference in the shades of PO#1 from different suppliers. Some are very close the original AC color, while others are almost brown.

Van Sickle PO1 in aerosol cans was still on the shelf at Theisens last night. Perhaps Theisens is not in your area

I'm happy with the Tallman's.  But it is VERY slow drying.  It sprays well.  It could perhaps use a hardener.  The spray can versions match the cans extremely well.

I was also surprised at how well it matched the new battery box I got from Steiner.
