I noticed the power steering belt on my D17 Series IV is cracked in several places. I'm guessing I should replace this before it breaks. Has anyone ever replaced one of these before? Just curious on the difficulty and any past stories encountered. As always, thanks in advance!

Only problem is it is a close fit between front pully and front support but it will go. MACK

Well....

looseing the PS pump bolts can be challenging.....
and
that's how you tighten/loosen the belt.

Make sure you have quality angel wrenches on hand.
Not much turning radius on one of those bolts.

Just adjusted/ tightened my series III. no issues if the bolts are not seized!

Those bolt heads are best worked on with a good quality open-end 9/16" wrench that has WIDE tangs. A cheap narrow wrench doesn't make full use of the head of the bolt, especially if the last guy used a cheap wrench and has rounded off the bolt heads a bit.
