I picked up a new 14” x 28” rim on an auction to replace one on my 45. However, the rails are closer together than on my other rims. Can it be used?

I've seen 10 inch, 11 inch, 12 inch, 13 inch and 16 inch rims that accept a 28 inch tire for an A-C tractor.  So, on any of those factory A-C rims if you measure from the top of one rail directly across the center to another rail you would have about 23 or 24 inches , right???   That's the dimension you MUST have within 1/4" I'd say.

13x26 measured at the outside edges is 14x28.  measure inside the bead at both points.

I rechecked my measurements. It is a 14 x 28 measured from inside the beads. The distance between the rail ends is 13”. My concern is the distance between the rails which is less than on my other rims. They also looked like they are at a different angle. We’re Oliver adjustables different from Allis?
