has any one tryed building say like a ten lb. crankshaft pulley to help get more rolling mass probley not much can be done in the flywheel area

I use an 11 lb donut on the front side of my WD puller flywheel. My D-17 puller has a 17 lb flywheel donut on the O.D.

how much do you think that you gain in torque ?      i kind of think that it would be huge, buddy had the machine shop that we use biuld him abig heavey flywheel for his big block chev in his pulling truck and that keeps him right their with the guys with the big cubic dollars engines , at least for now
