The front axel on my D-10 series III is set all the the way in. I got the left side out to where I want it, put cannot get the right side to move. I even took the left side all the way out and with a 3/4" steel pipe slid in past the center pivot, and against the inside end of the right side. I hammered on the end of the pipe, and the axel will not move.
Clear as mud?  Anyone have a way to move the axel out?
I've also got an old screw scissors jack, between the outside brace and the vertical part of the axel, and the inside part will not move. That alone is how I moved the left side.

I'm going to say more penetrating solution and let it soak.  You're 50% of the way there with one broke loose.

If you have one side removed, it's just a matter of a large solid piece of steel shoved down inside and keep swinging a 20 pound sledge !!!   You've got it made with access to it like that !!!
