While doing some work with my HD4 today, I noticed something that I never had before. Significant wear in some of the track chain bushings, to the point that a hole has been worn right through them and I'm looking at the pin inside.

Looking for advice on what to do. My understanding is that undercarriage parts for these things are extremely hard to find these days. Is there anything I can do to help prolong the life of the chain, like running the track tension fairly loose or something like that?

Thanks in advance.

Once they wear through , END OF LIFE - nothing can save them as dirt will get inside and the wear will destroy what is left . If rail height his still high enough there might be someone who can find pins and bushings - but seems nothing out there that is easily found .
Seems way down under parts can be sourced from China  - but no one in the US seems to have anything for old machines .
