Are you looking for NOS or used take offs?

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I am in the same position, are the wear plates available to replace? Ford G81-0807 guards are available locally. Just wanting to stay AC. I’m using Hershel serrated sections.

The guards with rivet holding a ledger plate. Yes the ledger is replaceable. I can see if I have any left if you’d like

I use the twin New Holland on mine with 1 AC guard. Works great, mowed a bazillion acres over the years. HTH Tracy

I will keep that in mind Tracy. Do you have the guard number in case I can’t get enough ledger plates?

I don't remember on part numbers. The Herschels I use are the same hole spacing as AC are. Those ledger plates are tough to replace correctly. Need a good heavy setup for head side. HTH Tracy

Part number should be stamped on it. I don’t think the guards on our NH 451 mower will fit but I should check.

The A+ fits the same hole pattern as the AC sections. Just depends if your using the regular sections or the serrated? Better known as Tiger shark sections they really do a nice job of cutting as long as the ledger plate it good. Especially orchard grass and fine grass as I am used to cutting. I will admit replacing ledger plates is not something I am accustomed to so I am interested to find out how to properly replace them. Otherwise I will need to use replacement guards instead. Thank you Tracy for your wisdom

Easiest way is to drive them out from ledger plate side of guard. You can drill counter sink head off if you want to, but takes practice. Need to have the guard you are working on supported well. You can leave on mower, use an anvil or short piece of railroad rail. Needs to be cleared for ledger plate rivet removal. Use a heavy punch with short tip to start them moving. Finish driving it out with longer punch. Shortest length possible. And to replace remove guard, insert ledger plate, install rivet, use a heavy punch or hardy tool in anvil, make sure ledger plate is tight to guard with correct length rivet, pound rivet with hammer, making sure ledger plate is tight to guard during process. HTH Tracy
