I bought a nice original drawbar guide assembly P/N 223187 to replace the repaired one on my WD45 at the salvage yard some time ago. That part number is for a WD while P/N 226522 is for the WD45. Difference being the mounting holes are cut out on the one for the 45 so you can just slide it onto the tractor and install the pins.  The one for the WD does not have the holes cut out/open. My intention was to cut out the holes on the one I bought. All of the reproduction drawbar guides I've seen have the open holes, which I know would be easier to use. But that got me to thinking maybe someone would want this guide I have if they're doing a restoration and want it to be correct for a WD. Just thought I'd throw it out there before I cut the holes out. I'd still need one for my 45 though, so I'd be open to an even swap if anyone is interested.

My 1957 WD-45 is the same way. It never had a snap-coupler bell, as it was ordered without it( factory delete). So, when I use my 3 x 16's 70 series or 2 x 14's 50 series mounted plows, I split the drawbar and set them off to the side. I then swing the bail clear up against the platform and leave it there. Splitting the drawbar is much easier on the back !!

Needed one of those for a project I was working on some time back. Then got a No.4 sub-sioler and that project got shelved. Good ones are hard to find!

Photo to compare the two. If you have a good used guide with open slots (WD45) and would like to trade for one with holes (WD) let me know.
