I recently rescued a D10 from the trees/weeds at my sister's place. The tractor is complete and I am working on getting it running again.

The gas tank is a rotted out mess, holes in it I can stick my hand through. I am having trouble locating a tank, I understand they are not reproduced and from what I have observed D10 parts are hard to find.

Is there a tank that can be substituted from another model in place of the OEM unit understanding it may not have a fuel gauge? Thanks in advance.

With a tank that looks like that, how is the engine NOT stuck?

The engine is completely free, clean and in great shape. The carburetor float was frozen and I had to go through it. The air cleaner also needs a good cleaning. I think the tank had ethanol gas in it when parked.

That tank is a good candidate to install a window. Then you can monitor the fuel level...  LOL!  That engine is super clean inside though. Amazing!

Thank you to Larry in NC for helping me out with the tank and answering other questions about the D10.
