OK, I've had this Ditch Witch C99 trencher for the longest and been stored in the barn for a few years.  A friendly contractor had the engine completely overhauled for me and I only used it to dig a trench for a water line 4 or 5 years ago. I remember the dang carburator giving me fits back then,,,SO, I want to order a replacement carburator for the engine. It now has an updraft carb but I ain't found one on Ebay or amazon,,,plenty of side draft carbs but no UPdrafts,,,,??
I'm thinking the engine is a Wisconsin single cylinder with  numbers on tag==AENLD-2---
 408004--5909185---
Tag on the trencher frame is C99---SN113107

It would NOT be a big issue to build a different "intake" to use a newer side draft carb which are a dime a dozen on Ebay ($22) I got some pics to see if someone can ID the carburator,,,,,,

Darnit, Joe-

If you wanna us to identify the CARBEURATOR...

then git in there and post a picture of the CARBEURATOR...

from that angle and distance, it could be ANYTHING... Zenith, Tillotson, Marvel Schebler, Bendix...

Good thing it has a starter-generator on it, my buddy has one of those trenchers on steel tracks... rope start.

 Chit Dave,,,ole Buddy,,,ole pal,,,,,,LOLLOL
I WAS SOME PRE-MATURE ON THIS ONE AS i AM GOING TO REMOVE IT TAMARROW,,,LOLLOL
I have bad memories with that carb as it was always tempermental SOB even after a complete clean out and new carb  kit The contractor told me that he put a kit in it also,,,!!! I'm thinkin bout machining two plates with the bolt pattern of the intake but with a straight 1" nipple welded between the two flanges to mount a carb that is NOT an updraft
I did find some "NEW" rooskie made carbs on Ebay that are listed for the Ferguson TO 20 tractors,,,,reckon one of them would work,,??
That starter is also a generator and is 12 volt and works many wonderfulsClapClap
