Everyone should be careful of dealing with anyone that uses "PAY PAL" I've had a couple of fraudulent "Pay PAL" charges applied to my credit card. I have NEVER used "PAY PAL" for anything. My credit card company was very prompt in dealing with this issue and has cleared these charges from my account. The card company told me the some places relay credit card numbers through "PAY PAL" and my number could have been "hacked" from "Pay PAL". Had I'd previously used "Pay Pal" my card company might not have been so easy to convince the charges were fraudulent. Your experience may vary. Just a warning, ignore at your own peril.

I use Pay Pal and to date have had no problems.  I have my credit card set up to text me on every charge with an option to reply the charge is not real (not exact wording).  I do that because many years back I had a moron steal/use my card number.  Got that back too but that's another story.

problem was probably due to Credit Card Company.. I have had two cards hacked in 40 years....Card company normally catches the errors... I have NEVER had a problem using Pay Pal... seems to be pretty secure.

Some opportunist most likely hacked the credit card and since you don't have a Paypal account, set one up and went shopping.  Usually get items under $50 to see if it clears first then go for the gold.

All we use is Paypal. No problems so far in the years we've had it for the business. It's secure for us as well as the customer. The reason we went that wey years back...
