The original plow bottom is badly worn so I scabbed a 16" moldboard from a horsedrawn John Deere sulky plow onto it; it doesn't fit correctly but as my Grandma used to say "Poor people have poor ways".

I am in need of some serviceable Model C plow parts, also a coulter.

.

As long as you are flipping the soil over, you are doing ok!

The disk will fix many plowing inconsistencies.

And that hen many are going no-till cover cropping.

I plowed over old hay/grass to bust up the sod and then going as much no-till cover crops as possible and avoid chemicals. Overcasting radish and buckwheat after corn planting has kept many weeds at bay.
