| Cut the meat off a nice ham eariler- was a bunch of fat- dogs luv it, but can it be used for anything? Chicken frying ? How does one render this ? Guess the farm butchers do this ? |

Not quite the same, but my grandfather used the bacon grease as pancake syrup during our camping outings
