Early B and all C starters have the switch underneath and Late B and CA starters have the switch on top, they are not one starter fits all. Which do you have? ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

The switch is on the bottom, this came off of a mid 1950 B tractor.

Both the Delco 1107043 & the 1107096 will interchange with one another. The mounting pads are 180 from one another as Paul mentioned. So technically, they will work in either of the 4 model Tractors with the same engine/bellhousing combo.
