So i have a new temp gauge , sender and thermostat all from AGCO...the gauge is reading all the way to the end of the red on the new gauge..12 volt supply.

Does anyone know what ohms range the sender should be?
I put a temp gun on the thermostat and its 180 F ..my NEW gauge reads way to high for the temp its at..and ideas would be helpful..thanks

Not sure what the ohms reading should be but I think you may not have a good ground between the 2. That was my issue on my XT

What Fred said. You need a third (ground ) wire to the gauge.
