bought a new lap top puter, the hinges on this one are broke. it's my 2nd HP brand puter, same thing happened on the other one. so many times of opening and closing them with the hinge broke and smoke will come out of it. if you gots an HP lap top and you smell something nasty, grab it and take it outside...it could very well burn your house down as it starts burning. my first HP started on fire while i was using it, it had the broken hinge too, i ain't smelt this one yet, but i/m sure i will soon! i went over and bought a new one (not HP), one i've never heard of before. has a bigger screen and lots more buttons on the keyboard. oh...and none of the new ones come with onboard CD scanners now...hafta buy them extra if you wanna down load anything from a CD! i spose i'll hafta change my handle and password on here again! PffffffT!

My last Dell did the same thing; broken hinge. I am guessing it's a problem with all brands.

no reason to change handel and pasword... all 3 of my PCs let me onto this site, at the same time too !
