Just seen Max Simpson passed away today- he definitely had a touch in tuning AC D 21.s and the 426

Definitely a smart man, once he found the limits of the 426, he tested the theory twice more and quit pulling himself. His contributions to pulling were many and his reputation was stellar, certainly a loss not only to the pulling community, but also to the Mid Michigan area in general. He will be missed.

I used to work at the Eaton County Fair Tractor Pulls and he would be there every year. He was considered "Tractor Turbo Royalty"
