Can still remember LP fuel pickups and cars as was a Whole $.05/gal cheaper than Gas in the 60s/70s economy sucked.  Were LP tractors and still are LP forktrucks where economy never really mattered until the late 70s.  CNG has become a Go To fuel for medium Sized Trucks and Buses where that is waning due to severely HIGH maintenance requirements (Burns WAY too dry eats valves and seats STILL), BTU Value is still worthless where fuel mileage does not pay off for price difference and maintenance increases.  Are seeing large semi's with Side tanks (UPS) and ever more with back of cab Fuel Cells(PTI and a few others), the dead giveaways are NO stacks, can be NO Side tanks or Fairings.  Friend of mine sent photos his dad took of Butane Powered Macks back in the late30s, 40s and 50's with Hall Scott Gas Engines or Macks own gas engines.  IHC marketed many older versions of the 190s and 210s with Gas engines on LP.

Amazing to see the roll in and out of Gaseous fuel supplied basically gasoline engines as if they were a New Thing!!!

That, and the fact that government has imposed additional requirements that diesel fuel meet certain emissions standards, thus making the refining of diesel more expensive.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.
