I forgot to note the Medicare rise in my post, part of the inflation.

Definitely off topic, but...
A couple weeks ago, I received a check from Medicare for 10 cents. Of course it was sent via US Postal Service. Bureaucracy at it's best !

5.9 % but with Medicare increase and inflation adjusted I figured I lost about 4%.  Government at its best.

Social Sec COLA is going up 5.9% for 2022.... so if you make $1500. a month now, you will get about $80. more in 2022...

At the same time Medicare Premium ( that the Govt takes out of your SS) is going to increase from $148 to $170.  ...... or $22 a month MORE.

So in the end, you will make a little MORE money on your monthly check ...... this does not take into account inflation or what you pay for ADDITIONAL Medical Coverage.

All the latter stated went up on mine, and the percentage is not across the board, some get the 5.9 others do not, my own was targeted at 5.6.

I have a Medicare Advantage Plan like they Hock on the TV... In my County it is  $ 0. Payment per month... Covers part A & B extended and medicine... Has a limited amount of dental, vision and hearing ( maybe $2000. each?) ....Something like a $4000 out of pocket max for the year... I dont get sick or take medicine so i dont spend maybe $100. a year.
