| Anyone know of anyone making the engine plate/ whatever needed etc to put a 426 in front of a 200 Power Director ? |

| I used the 426 plate from a 7580 and relocated starter to 301 position. Grind some off the block(3500) to make starter fit. Relocate oil filters and custom flywheel to use 301 ring gear. |

| Gottcha, thanks- was thinking about using the 426 engine plate redrilling holes for the 200- and using a 301 flywheel and clutch - sounds easy !!! |

On a similar note: Does anyone have a progress report on the fellow putting a 426 in the D17? ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |
