Anybody got advice on the best way to remove, then re-install, the plug on the front of the intermediate shaft?  Service manual says that it just pops out and once removed you have to take a nut off the front of the intermediate shaft.  There's not really a good way to get to it.  Looks like I may destroy it taking it off and wasn't sure if these were a one time use item.  See pic below.  

Looking rearward from bottom of torque tube/hydraulic pump cover.  That's the linkage of the hydraulic pump in front of plug.

Success!  It just took more patience and more force but I got her out!
