My D17 Ib started leaking antifreeze around the t/shat housing.  Looks like the gasket has cracked and partially squished out.
If I take it off and put on a new gasket, what should I do about torquing?  Since these are headbolts should I am concerned about what happens when I loosen only these two up.
I can get a torque wrench on the one, but the one under the stat housing you can't reach with a regular torque wrench.  Suppose I could use a crows foot to get at it and readjust the torque wrench setting for the extra length - is that how youse guys do it?
Do I loosen everything and retorque the whole head?  Or just these two?
thanks for your help and advice,
Creek

I just use a wrench and get them tightened by hand. if not a crow's foot would work just as good.

I would not mess with the other head bolts. just the two for the t-stat housing.
