I should clarify I’m inquiring about the pull-type E of the 40s/50s, not the self propelled E of the 1960s.
Does anyone know what type of bolts were used to bolt the bars to the cylinder? Looking at the bar I see it looks like a plow bolt with a special divet to keep it from spinning. I have a cylinder bar from my g-grandpa’s E that I cleaned up and would like to mount on a board I saved from his granary. Regular hex head bolts look wrong so I’d like to find some original bolts. Maybe the early self propelled combines had the same bolt?
I’m away from the farm for a few days so I don’t have the bar here to take photos of.
Thanks!

seems to me they were a tapered bolt, but don't remember what type of head was on them.
