I can’t imagine why? I sure wouldn’t pass any up these days.
We go to western KS for beef each year.

Sorta kinda dad’s fault for lack of a better way to say it. Lack of communication, when he finally told them theirs was going they had gotten some elsewhere.

Just received our newest 1/4 beef, Wife and I do not eat as much as used to and since Covid have had few guests or family for entertained dinner associates.  Paid less than $4.50/lb for a mixed load quarter of burger, steaks, roasts and misc(Stew Meat or bigger cuts IE Brisket, to cut up for odd meals meats or to dehydrate or smoke).

$4.50 per pound, or slightly less, yep, that’s about what it works out to. You get “more” “pay less per pound “ if you get things like soup bones, short ribs, liver….

Have a happy 4th everyone.!!
I got a bunch of meat this week HyVee had sale. Next day got big bunch of canned veggies, meats, boxed stuff in case food goes up. So Freezer full, shelves stocked up. I ALSO got a years supply of ass wipe n paper towels, just in case. First I've seen those aisles in WallyWorld full in longtime.  No stands in town selling melons or corn yet!!

Why did I stock up??Hhmmm, lots of the midwests veggies come from west coast and its drier there than we are (least thats what the TV tells us ) & my lawn is brown, the crops not looking well either. Neighbors garden is brown cept for where she waters it.
