After cleaning and replacing O rings in my Control Valve my power steering wants to motor to the extreme right. I pulled the assemble apart again expecting I had installed the spool backwards. Not the case. I see in the Shop Manual diagram an inactive plunger which I don’t seem to have. Did I loose it or did some not have it?
What are your ideas as to what causes the motoring?

May have lost a spring or plunger from control valve or misadjusted nut on control spool.                   MACK
