I have a wd 2 blade disk plow 5 hole 26 inch in diameter when new ( that was a long time ago). I thought I remember a post about someone having a source for new ones but I can't find it .  And every google search brings me a zillion disk harrow blades. Agco numbers are 702914, 702801 or 700440 and all of them come up nla. thanks

More than finding a disc blade is just getting the wholes all put in. Just guessing a 26 inch disc blade in you part of the world is not common. Out  here that would be easy to find. Dealers use to be able to cut different size center wholes here, I don't know what they used. But having all clay with lots of hard, HARD limestone. I never NEVER wear a disc blade down they break first. My frugal side shows up and I always look the junk piles over for others cast off blades.

I have cut a fair number of blades with a torch and had good results. I known the heating would not be the best  but never gave a problem I saw. And taking a disc axle apart to put a blade in the middle of was the kind of thing I don't forget about right away, now years latter ....Confused.......well I might.

Look a Shoup catalogue to get a idea of what all thicknesses you can get disc blades in. For a plow I would think the thickest would be good.  Places like that may even put the wholes in for a price.

Its not so much the diameter that's the problem, its the dish(concavity). IIRR, the dish is like 4-4-1/2" on disc-plow blades, but the dish on regular disc-harrow blades is like 3-3-1/2". Holes won't be much of a problem, anyone with a water-jet cutter can likely figure out a jig, to punch the holes...

Dish(concavity) is the measurement from edge of the blade to center(like height). Lay it upside-down like an upside-down plate, and measure it from the table its laying on, to highest point.

I would start searching with one of today's manufacturers of disc-plows, and see what the diameter and dish(concavity) of their blades are. I would think that all are pretty much the same, disc-wise.  Here is the first one that popped up, on a google search:

Good luck, and let us know what you find!Wink

I brought an old Athens 3 disc plow years and my Father in Law had an old Allis Chalmers snap coupler disc plow that was right like like my Athens plow except for the hitches. I got it for parts. Could your plow be an rebranded Athens plow ?

Athens made them for AC.  Then Athens was bought by Rhino, and  they no longer make disc-plow parts...Wink

You might look on Osmundson Tillage site. I found some blades thru a dealer for them a few years ago.

They were made by Athens and it even says that on the cover of the owners manual. That I have never seen before with a piece of rebrand equipment. The people at Athens could not be nicer if they tried but you are right, they don't have any parts
