A friend of mine has a 8N ford and after about 8-10 mph the front wheels go into a death wobble, any ideas on how that can be fixed.

Where does the wobble start at steering box or tie rod ends

Tie rods are solid, I think it starts inside the gear box

Steve has probably got the info on it.

Back in my day as a youngster, when you wore the box out that far you put your two feet up on the steering shafts and let her rip.  LOL

Hadda MF turf 20, like that, it would do 30-35 mph, with the road gears it had in it.  Wobble started in the upper range!  Maybe its time fer the universal ford fix!LOL

I've always heard the way to fix a Ford (no matter what the problem) was to first find an abandoned quarry. Then tie the steering wheel of said Ford pointed in the direction of the abandoned quarry. Then after starting the Ford (if it will run, if not, push it), put it in gear and bail off LOLBig smileClap

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
