On my AC 500 loader, the lift cylinder gland nut at the end where the rod come out, is always backing out, and if I don't see it, I am going to have a mess.

How tight do you make the nut.  I have always used a screw driver to tighten up. I do not have a spanner wrench that will fit.

Thanks   Dale

You can make a spanner wrench by cutting with a torch and then drill holes to fit your needs. Fit pins to size. Weld in place. We have made several this way.

no torch ???... cut 3 pieces of flat bar, weld into a 'U'(inside of u just bigger that OD od ram., add a handle...looks like a 'Y' or goalpost now.. fun part weld tabs ont he unprights of the 'U' to fit the 'pinholes' of the nut.

One of those ,after it's built ,it's easy to see HOW to make one......
