Hi I wanted to say Hi from Ohio. I've been reading this forum for a little while but never have posted. We bought a small 20 acre farm a few years ago so of course I had to buy a couple AC tractors to go with it. If I can figure out how to upload I will post some pics of my 175 and C. My dad also has jumped on the AC bandwagon and just bought a fixer upper C we went down and picked up on Wednesday. Thanks for all the knowledge shared.

I bought an old new idea pull behind sickle mower for the c but I think I would rather find an undermount bar for it. I've also thought about trying to find a loader for the 175 for the odd jobs to do around here.

Welcome to this AC forum, lots of good information on here. I started with a 175 and CA (much like your C) as well, can do a lot with those two! Kevin

Steve

"side weights and front weights on the C."

I can see the Engine side weights you mention, but I can't seem

to spot the 'front weights' you mention.

Give a hint as to where they are located.

Welcome to the Unofficial Allis Chalmers Forum
As you have found there is lots of information to be found here
Really like the C you have.  We did not see many wide fronts here in Maryland.
Love the picture of your son.  You know about 80 years ago I can see myself there.
Take good care.
Good Luck!

Welcome to the group. We have a club The Ashland County Yesteryear Machinery Club. We hold our show at the AShland County-West Holmes Career Center. This year if Covid doesn't stop us we will be featuring The Buckeye Allis Club of Ohio in July 10 & 11, 2021.

I'm just up in Polk. I go to the show just about every year. Used to go when I was a kid with my dad and now take my kids. I missed it last year but will for sure be there this year, especially if their featuring Allis.
