Darin, If you rather something like this not be posted here I have no problem with it being removed.
A couple a months ago my wife asked if I could make something to hang one of those plastic bags that things that you buy are put in, on the cabinet door, under the kitchen sink. I made a hanger/holder. And a couple weeks latter our daughter saw it and wanted one. So I made her one, but a little different. I've made a few others, improving the design. I've got it to what I like. Now I'm asking you guys if you think there might be a market for something like this. There certainly is no shortage of the plastic bags.
Thanks, Dusty

I don't know Dusty. This world has a plastic problem in Joe and Hoe's world. They have been reforming us heathen rednecks on both coasts. When O'l Joe starts reforming the heartland plastic bags will have to go, they are made from petroleum that Joe is going to stop letting be extracted.
About 3 or 4 years now you pay 10 cents a plastic or paper bag at the store. Guess who gets that 10 cents the GOVERNMENT. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own reusable bags.
This started city by city, the more enlightened the city (dumb ass )the faster. Then it was whole counties, finally the whole state. The stores supported the idea in the beginning as a cost cutting. In the end I don't know how they feel, as fugal folks that forgot bags just wheeled the unbagged stuff out in the cart. So shop lifters started doing the same.
So about time you get up to speed the bag will be gone. Sorry to rain on you idea. Cause there are a million and one good uses for a "free" bag. So handy storage would be great, but not in this PC world. The hell with what is clean and practicable. Bring your scummy old dirty bags in and spread all manor of diseases and poison (nature has made more poisons than man) much more deadly than covid ever thought of being. There was a time in the beginning of the lock down, bags where given again and "your bags" were forbidden. But we are back to the "new better way".

Hey Dusty,,,I happen to be a relentless optimist and my glass has always been half full when I start,,!! SOOoo,,I think you gots a GREAT idea,, I used to have a "Grandma" made of cloth that had a pouch under it where you stuffed the walmart bags for later use. Problem was there was always more bags that "later Uses",,,, SO,,I'd stuff a bunch of them in one and put in garage,,,NOW I gots too friggin many bags in coener of garage I've seen some people that lay the bags on counter and lay a piece of plywood on em to keep em flat,,,,but what do you do with the flattened piles,,?? One use I have is get enough bags in a round pile and I stuff em in my baseball caps after washing em and fill the inside of cap with bags and starch the chit out of the cap and set in sun==== perfectly round caps again,,,, I'll tell you what would make you some money is to invent a something that separates them friggin bags "AT THE STORES"!!!! JEEEZE,,sometimes I get so flustered trying to find the split to open the friggin bag to put my groceries away,,,,,,BUT,,,,BUT,,don't forget ME when you get your patent and sell the idea to Walmarts and others,,,,,,

are you STORING the bags or hanging one on the door for USE ? ..... i have a box about 18 inch cube that has 50 bags in it.. If i need one we pick from that.. When we go to the grocery and end up with 15- 20 NEW bags, i stuff them all into ONE bag and throw it in the burn barrel... TOO MANY BAGS.
------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I've got a 5 gallon pail with a 4" hole cut into the lid and just stuff em in there. When I get enough of em, I give em to my BIL who uses them to pick up his dog doo.... thus helping his neighbors keep their lawns clean and getting them to the landfill with a present inside.

Guys its already being done. We had 1 in the old house. Was chrome, went over the cabinet door. But the only bags we found that were worth a darn came from Menard's. A whole lot heavier than grocery store bags. It disappeared when we moved.

Wife folds them up neatly for easier dispensing to be later used as liners for small trash cans. Makes it easy to empty trash cans.

I just grab them all up and stuff them in the cabinet under the sink. We also use them in a small trash can. I figure we were doing our part recycling them!

Use them for small trash can liners here too. Bag a bunch and slip under cabinets, use until use up.

my Dodge pickup has a hook looking thing on the lower dash and passenger 1/2 of the dash, it's molded into the dash, so it's sposed to be there, i hang them plastic bags on it for trash then it's not laying on the passenger floorboard. and we use them in small trash containers too. but mostly they go into the burn barrel. ours around here are made from corn starch, and when wet they disinagrate.

Our Wal-Mart has a box to put all our plastic bags for them to recycle.
The wife and I work with our local Lutheran Braille Workers, we print and assemble books of the Bible for distribution around the world. We use Wal-Mart and similar size bags to double bag books that are sent out of the USA. I know their are forum members all over the world, maybe there is some one local to you who could use the bags.
Thank you and a Happy New Year, Dave
