Got a One Eighty 301 engine with a Bosch A pump on it - curious- will a  P3100 bolt onto the adapter plate for the A pump? Its the 301 diesel block with cam driven oil pump Thanks !

No the hub size is different. And bolt pattern is bigger. Have to grind the pump and block to make it fit. Also we add a bracket to the back of the pump to support it

Thanks for the info , but it is do-able then? I have a few front engine plates here- next question will be will the stock front gear cover fit ?

The OD of the gear is the same as the original
