Mowing the yard with my 720 and belly mower. I could tell it was running rich and told myself I need to adjust the hard to reach mixture screw after I’m done and she has cooled down. Well, got most of my yard done and decided that I needed to take care of this because it was getting worse. By the time I got her to the garage she was really running rough. So, after about 2 hours I went and lifted the hood and began the repair. I decided to start it just to make sure I had good fuel delivery. Fuel was pouring out the bottom of the carb. Removed the carb and laying on top the engine was the main jet. It had vibrated completely out, its a wonder it ran as long as it did. Set it at 2 turns out and she ran fine. Finished up the yard. Lucky it didn’t catch on fire. I have never had this happen before.

That could've been the first 720 on the moon Rob! LOL! That's weird. Might have to put a little pipe dope or loctite on the threads to keep it from vibrating out again.... Steve@B&B

Good idea Steve. The packing nut snugged right up and I have no leaks. I will keep an eye on it and see how it does. I’ve owned this one for about 6 years and this is my first issue.
