I recently purchased a 46’ W Speed Patrol in questionably condition. The engine was stuck, cylinders 2&3 full of water and rust. The engine is out and half torn down. I’ve purchased the operators, and parts manual as well as a WC Parts book to cross reference parts.

Questions:

What’s the preferred overhaul manual for a WC or W Speed Patrol?

Would anyone have contact information for Joe Bishop from Frankfort Maine, he’s restored several I believe?

Is there a preferred manufacturer or vendor for full engine overhaul kits?

Any Preferences on radiators?

I’m also looking for the rear operating pedals where these have been welded several times.

Also looking for fenders, draw bar, front axle assembly, hood...solar

Thanks,

Bill

For engine kits I would suggest Tony at Tony's Tractors. He sells a lot of engine kits. As a matter of fact, he also has a speed patrol. Also, I think Tony told me Joe Bishop sold his Tractors. He bought a lot of stuff from Tony when he had his Speed Patrols if I remember correctly. If you need a wiring system for your Speed Patrol we offer one if interested...

Thanks Steve. I’ve been talking with Tony about various bits and pieces.
Will do on the wiring system.
