NAPA can get them. Probably any major autoparts or battery outlet like National Tire and battery. Probably would have to order it in any case

I haven't had a problem at our local Fleet Farms getting a 6 volt batteries in various sizes.   Maybe a local Napa would have one also.

See if you've got a "Battery Warehouse" near you, they've got everything.

Our local mom and pops auto parts store carries 6V batteries all the time.

They carry Deka brand. I've been using Deka for years, and love the quality.

We sell the Deka 901 for the AC machines. Great performing Batteries. Unfortunately, we don't ship em' because of the acid. Pickup only, or I bring a couple to the shows with us sometimes...

I agree with the Deka suggestions. They rank right with Trojan. I get mine from a place called Courtney Battery. Don't buy the cheap ones.

And when you find them on the shelf, go around back and pick up the ones with the most recent manufacturing date. They will last much longer than those that have sat on the shelf for months or years.

Steve, can you get them dry charged? I remember years ago working at a Toro dealer the mowers came with the batteries in them with no acid. Part of the set up was fill the battery and then fully charge it. Most auto parts stores had battery acid. We had no problems, at least back then, getting acid in bulk.

One thing I like about Deka is that their sales reps in our area check the local store's stock for dated batteries. If it hasn't sold in a certain amount of time, they pull the battery from the store's stock, and replace it with a fresh one.

I have bought mine at Sam's Club for many years. They are cheap and I usually get about 8 years out of them. Bob@allisdowneast
