I need to remove the magneto from my 20/25 to get it repaired - anything special I need to do?

Just remove the bolts from the base and don't turn anything. Pull the mag away from the shaft and collect the shaft couple when it drops out. Once you have the mag off of the tractor remove the cap and make note of the position (which cylinder is going to fire, or has just fired). When you put the mag back on, it can only go back on in one of 2 positions based on the coupler... the right one and 180 degrees off, just make sure it is in the same position as it was when you took it off and everything should be in time as long as you do not move the position of the engine while you have the mag off.
