I realize the IB was somewhat of a specialty tractor for sawmills and industries but does anyone know of any implements that was made for them? Not necessarily farming plows or such but grass cutters, mower decks, or things like that. Really anything that could attach to the tractor and perform a purpose. Thanks,
Billy Ray

In addition to the above, there was a Drott grader, a front mounted crane with pto winch, front mounted sweepers, as well as their uses for pulling various golf course and other pull type equipment. Basically, at that time period, there were a lot of formerly horse drawn equipment, that got converted to tractor drawn equipment, and the IB pulled them...

This is a BOLTON 72 inch mower deck mounted to a "homemade" IB tractor... a real IB Might not have quite enough room between the tires front to rear.

My IB when I first purchased it, had a sickle bar on it . The sickle bar was gone, but you could see where it was mounted. It also had the remnates of some sort of York rake setup on the rear. Matter of fact, it was on the right hand side like Steve's pic.
Jay- Space saver tire! LOL!

I'm guessing it was built to be a dump trailer.

I believe it is a ground driven spreader for salt or sand, seeing as it is behind a snow plow.

I think they call that a "Tag"!
They maybe tipped it up on the two tires for cleaning it out and one guy could probably push it to its storage location.

I was thinking since the tractor has a Vplow and the trailer has the little wheels that could be engaged to the big wheels to drive an apron chain to spread salt / sand.

I copied, zoomed the picture and yeah, spreader make sense as them tires are realllll close to the biguns. There's a lever ,front right of the trailer and the words 'Street Dept' on the wall of the trailer so 'sand spreader' seems likely.
