A friend down here has a Terex 82 20 B and the parts supply is not so good.

Any suggestions for possible sources your side would be appreciated and I'll pass them on

Thanks

Hi Dave

I haven't seen it.  Will send the U-tube and ask

Terex parts even here are very problematic as not in production very long and as Allis HE not all that popular so much of the inventories are depleting.

Hope he finds his needs, old iron is hard to beat until beats back.

I sent the U-tube.  Reply is "similar but those have a Cummins, not a DD".

His is "ex-logging, probably from Borneo and doesn't have rippers so a bit nose heavy".

So part of the world wide trade in big iron.  There are some FD-30s here that started work on New York rubbish dumps.

A company here called Ironbark imported a number of bigger Terex tractors ex British Army a while ago Ian. Being military, chances are they had access to a vast range of spares with the deal. Could try to find out if it would help.

Mac

Thanks.  I'll forward and see what he says - likely will be interested.

Like there was a bloke here who must have had connections to South Korean military and had a lot of Allis stuff and a line of FD 20s with Cummins engines.
