I am new to the AC family. This is my first ever post, I'm a bit behind the times. I recently purchased a AC-HD11 dozer (tractor serial# HD11E-6131, engine serial# 11-6054. I'm trying to find a part number for the air filter. I have looked through parts manual with no luck. The filter is square with 16 round tubes. 10 5/16"w× 8 1/4"tall. Tried to upload pictures but not sure exactly how. Thank you for any for any information you have. Also could anyone tell me what year it is I think its between 1960-1964 not real sure.

Try Applications associates under a Baldwin Filter Search. They are about the only ones I can locate the Farr Dynacell for my 7G.

Thank you very much for the information. The baldwin website link you sent me is packed with information. Unfortunately neither of the filters are the same dimension as mine.

Our NAPA store has been in business since the 1940's. I am lucky, the guys grew up in a farm community. I would take take it to them and have them cross it. You may not have that option. I did Google it. All States Ag parts shows a filter looks like yours -- part # PA 1806 for $58.99. replaces Frame CA 323 or AC # 70644042. Hope this helps.

it is likely the original oil bath filter was replaced with the square type, likely not from an HD11 at all.  The first dry cleaners on the HD11 were round, the square ones started in 1964 at serial number 10000.  1960 model year by serial number.

Interesting, any idea what kind of equipment the filter may have be off of? Thank you so 1960 model do you know if this is is just a standard hd11 or is it an hd11E.

Ok...Cool!  you did good on the pictures..Has the Lanova style engine still..The air filter does look similar to what they did have at that time....I'll have to look at a parts book in the morning when I get to my office.  Nice specimen!

The track pads sure look good, can't really see the rails to well.  Looks like it's been sitting there for a while.

Based on the Hood Hole this is a conversion. The old element will have a Number on it somewhere, these all did where that will be you best hope. The Farr Dynacell on my Allis has a Metal Tag on the housing with the Farr p/n on it.

Thank you all very much. Old owner said it's been setting for around 20 years. Aid the reason they left it setting was. The through a track and bent the tensioner trying to force it back on. From what I deduced he didn't loosen the tensioner. And bent it trying to use the rear sprocket to force it back on to the idler.I've been giving it some TLC trying to bring the old girl back to life. I will try to get better pictures of the tracks and undercarriage.

I found the air filter. Called Baldwin directly. (800-822-5394) and they were able to look it up by its dimensions. They said they could do it for virtually any filter you could think of. the filter is a PA1776. Thank you everyone for all the help in finding out what this thing was.

Would suggest on the adjuster, to cut the bent threaded portion off the hex stem, then take both pieces to a machine shop and have a threaded rod made then welded to the hex length and reinstall.

yes adjuster is easy fix.  i suggest checking for fuel/and condition of in that injection pump and that it is not stuck before trying to start.  those pumps are no longer serviceable.  would also turn engine over by hand to verify no hangups before hitting with starter.  could save a lot of headache later on.

So if I cut the adjuster I can just unscrew from idler and pull the adjuster shaft out? Or do I have have yo take the tensioner system apart to get adjusting rod out? Sorry for crapy verbiage just want to make sure I'm doing right. Don't screw it up

Posted By: DMiller
Date Posted: 20 May 2020 at 2:21pm
May or may not Just Unscrew!! Take the lock off the yoke and may come right out, main thing is to release the stress against the yoke and hex section of the shaft then the hex can be lifted out of the way and the threaded end worked on.

Awesome thank you. I have another quick question. Dealing with injectors. I am looking for the copper gasket. I looked up the part number in the manual (4511204) but when I look on line and I found a few but the items that are coming up are priced way different and from one sight it is listed as A-4511204 and the other reference 74511204 as the OEM. So confused on what I'm supposed to buy any help would be greatly appreciated. uploads/21093/Screenshot_20200520-210105_Chrome.jpg" rel="nofollow - Screenshot_20200520-210105_Chrome.jpg uploads/21093/Screenshot_20200520-190726_Chrome.jpg" rel="nofollow - Screenshot_20200520-190726_Chrome.jpg uploads/21093/Screenshot_20200520-190726_Chrome.jpg" rel="nofollow - Screenshot_20200520-190726_Chrome.jpg

IIRC part numbers got that extra 7 added in front later on

Posted By: DMiller
Date Posted: 21 May 2020 at 6:46am
That is correct Ian, as AC incorporated to FA that number change occurred. As to Nozzle coppers, any decent Fuel Injection shop can get those, does not have to be Allis.
