Hello all, new to the forum. I have recently acquired a h3 dozer that has the capability to be a power six way blade. Does anyone know where one could acquire the side to side tilt cylinder? Or an equally heavy replacement? Thanks in advance

welcome, sniff ,sniff.. I always wanted an H3....
if you have the cylinder, a shop could rebuild it...
may take a few days for an H3 owner to reply...might not be too many.
try googling 'allis-chalmers H3 tilt cylinder specs' ??

Thanks for the welcome, the h3 didn’t come with the cylinders for power tilt and side to side blade adjustment. I was looking to acquire originals or find out the specs for the stroke on them similar could find replacement cylinders.

Just have to wait a bit.... I assume the HD3 is the same setup as the H3, and lots of them around..... Someone will probably post a 'link' to a manual.....

Surplus Center - has many hyd cylinders and you might find something to work .
son has been buying cylinders from them for his skid loader attachments , but he just bought 2 cylinders off e-bay for a special puller he is building - his supplier he used last time said they were out of production - but he found 2 on e-bay $200 cheaper . After they were delivered the other supplier said they were back in stock but $100 higher than last order .
So looks like a lot of suppliers are now competing for business -
Other thing some hyd shops will build to order for 1 of use

I have an H3  for many years, If I were looking to add a cylinder there I would put slightly larger one on there. Mine is weak tilting on one direction on really hard ground with a loaded blade.
