Hadn't heard it but with the numbers we've gotten it makes sense, and I'm glad they are doing it! I'm all for it as well as for the lot's of folks that are making a lot more money on unemployment than they would have been at work.

Yes I understand that people have and will die from Covid! How long can this State and this Country survive by being shutdown? I believe not much longer! People can take precautions and still work.

The BN shut down all 83 counties because of the serious problems of a few mostly in the southeast corner of the state, The younger people in the rest of the state should get back to work but the BN has to do her part to tank the economy to stop the president.
BN=bad name

I believe this whole Covid outbreak has been mishandled by both Medical and Government. We were not prepared as no one usually is. I believe face coverings should have been enforced earlier this allowing people more freedom to move. In Detroit Prisoners were released into the public helping to spread the virus. Hospitals were predicted to be overrun shutting down services for patients with other medical problems. When the overrun did not happen the temporary Hospitals built by the Corps of Engineers were shut down. The Media as usual are all about taking Trump down for the Democratic Party. Democrats showed their true colors by not letting a crisis go to waste and holding emergency funds hostage so they could get money for the Kennedy Center! Governor Whitmer is playing State Mom and grounding the entire state and issuing conflicting confusing orders. I agree with people protesting the Governor but I dont believe carrying firearms during the demonstration was necessary! Many businesses will close forever and will anyone care? Having many relatives that lived through the Great Depression and World War 2 and what they told me of how the country performed I can honestly say this is not our finest hour handling this crisis!

Wisconsin is on lock down till May 25th. After a month I've heard of several bars and small business in the Fox Valley area that wont be reopening. So much for living the dream.

The whole thing is just govt. BS and as for the figures,---the paper has to lay still while its being printed! ---I don't and never have believed any of this garbage!---it's fake and an attempt to kill the economy and put us into another depression like the late 20's and early 30''s . so far the general public has fallen for it. -----time to stand up and say NO to it all.

I respect the serious situation caused by COVID-19. Illinois is locked down through May by our Chicago governor who cares only about Chicago & has no respect for the rest of Illinois. The liberals are dancing on top of our civil rights. I would propose a 3 tier system for re-opening our country with each tier being treated differently. Tier 1 areas would be the big cities like New York, Chicago, L.A., etc. Tier 2 would be the smaller cities. Tier 3 would be the rural areas. Local hot spots would be dealt with as they crop up. Let's not punish the rural areas because of the outbreaks of COVID-19 in the big cities.

One of the high covid-19 out breaks is Dodge City, ks at the cattle slaughter plants. What the news does not tell you is that the meat slaughter plants have a very high concentration of Hispanic, Somalian and other non Caucasian American workers.

Most likely, the point is the living conditions that those people tend to live in. CROWDED, congregate together A LOT, etc.

Watching the news for 15 minutes yesterday morning, the reporter said a wave knocked a couple men outta their boat??? I understand one died. Then they started up with social distancing, that things will be closed for this coming weekends opener, and only families in the same boat. Then the reporter says that goes for the 4th of July as well. Does he know something the rest of us don't???
