Our local radio station started an "A-Z" marathon this morning a 7 am. A co worker got to the job site and immediately started complaining about the # of Beatle songs (still in the A's) that were being played Stern Smile. I really wasn't paying attention until he made that comment, but later in the morning the "B's" started and OMG, more Beatles (and I had to hear about it because he is NOT a Beatles fan). I just started wondering if anyone has an "educated" guesstimate of how many songs they put out in their career as a group ?

Well,,I happen to like the Beatles music,,cause I was a teenie bopper long bout the time they come over from England,,,,Clap I used to play on a traveling dance band during my High School days, and their songs was always asked for when we played for certain crowds,,Clap
Fact is,,,The caption on my picture in the High School senior annual was, "He is going to join the Beatles and play forever",,,,just goes to show how much they know,,,,,,,LOL,LOL

Back in the late 70s/early 80s, we were in the Pizza Hut over in the next county; Saturday night and the place was packed.
They had a juke box that you could hear two blocks away.
A quarter got you three songs.
We put three dollars in there and played Rod Stewart "If you think I'm Sexy" for the whole three dollars worth and just sat back to enjoy the results.
Played once every half hour or so, that is not a bad tune; but, over and over and over begins to grate on the nerves.
I bet to this day some of those people still can't get it out of their heads.

Without checking, I thought they had like 260 some songs. They were very prolific!

I was in Denmark back in my early 20's on New Years Eve in a bar and they played Beatles the whole night. It was a pretty good time. Can't remember the name of the place but it was odd. I remember it was cold as he!! out.

I myself don’t particularly care for pre- Sgt Peppers Beatles music. It’s just too teeny-bopper’ for me, if those songs come the radio, I won’t lunge for dial if it’s just one song.

From Wikipedia; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles" rel="nofollow - The Beatles were an English https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_music" rel="nofollow - rock band from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool" rel="nofollow - Liverpool who recorded hundreds of songs during their career. The group's "main catalogue" – songs released between 1962 and 1970 – consists of 213 songs (four of which exist in different versions): 188 originals and 25 covers.

LOL !! He showed up late to the job site and the rule "here" is- you snooze/you lose Wink . It was MY radio and choice of station but he seems to think that "EVERY ONE" on the site needs to cater to his wishes LOLLOL, I believe that's what his "crying" was/is all about Big smile. Sadly, I'd rather listen to the Beatles than his Smirnoff induced rants at 9 am Smile !! And NO, I was NOT going to change the station to appease the drunk BA$%)RD !!!

I absolutely HATE radios on the jobsite! Nobody can agree on what is good. The commercials are horrible beyond belief. Much rather just have quiet.

To you guys that frown upon job site radios, is this in a TRULY residential site, or in a "factory/line worker" type of site ?? There is NO WAY IN H$%L I will work for more than 20 minutes on a site without music of some kind!!  Honestly, the radio is the FIRST tool out of my truck LOL !! Wink

Yep first person there, radio first thing out. The worst sites for me was on multi story buildings. Each floor had different station. It gave me a headache as I moved floor to floor.

That's where the "downfall" of radios come into play Confused. My dad was a supervisor in a RV plant yeas ago and he said for awhile, each department "had" their own radio/stations and attempted to "drown-out" the other departments . In the end, NO department had radios LOL!!!
