According to Norm Swinford's book, 87 Speed Ace tractors were produced. The last that
I had heard, it was still for sale at Austin Farms Salvage, Butler, MO., asking price $100,000. The photo was taken with the speed ace on their truck and  Photoshop did its magic to the photo.

it is a really cool piece of AC history, shame someone doesn't have the dump wagon that goes with it!

I just wonder if anyone will ever pay even close to 100k? They must be granite rock solid on the price. The only tractors that bring six figures these days are the big Oil Pulls and prairie tractors, this is a whole different animal. Would have to be a big time collector who specifically likes Allis, I'm a bit surprised it didn't end up at Nesbitt's. Too bad it will probably just rot away until it's worthless.

For that kind of money it'd better be shining like new and run like new also! In my opinion = crazily priced

Says it has a K engine and steering clutches....Did they mix and match dozer and tractor parts to create this hybrid?

Very cool piece! NOT a very cool price!  I'm wit Bill/MN it'll probably rot away to nothin' then it won't be worth chit. It already looks quite rusty and beat-up. Shame.

I know of another. I think Norm overhauled the csrborator for it. The tractor is in a museum. I contacted a few people about it three years ago as the non-profit association would like to have someone restore it for them. They are willing to work out loaning rights in return. No interest at that time. It is in decent shape and runs.
