A little different question.
I need to use a 1 x 1 x 1/2" Tee sweat solder copper fitting in a rather close/tight place, and would like to know what the over all length and hight measurements are, before I go and get one. After the Stay At Home is lifted.

Thanks,
Dusty

Might try Mueller Co. they make copper fittings. Should be able to see a cut sheet with takeoffs for this fitting.

Look up Mueller Streamline on the web.

Might google to see if they make a sharks tooth fitting like you need.  Quicker and easier.

NIBCO is a huge mfr of them...yet I coulden't see real dimensions but I'm thinking 3.5" long and 2.25" tall.
I'm thinking in the plumbing world nobody needs to use tape measures as they just cut the pipe to fit..... I know the road builders up near don't know what a tape measure is for !!

I'd call NIBCO or someone who STOCKS the tee and ask them for real dimensions...

There are open here too, but we are under a Stay Home, and I'm try to get this project ready to do after Stay Home is lifted, and also to save a trip.

Dusty, i was wondering about that.. STAY HOME order, but the Hardware store is open ?  How does that work ?  In Illinois we have a "stay home" unless you need essentials.. you can go to Menards or Wal Mart, etc.

Before that, I recommend you talk to a plumber anyway. He will give you a more correct and safer answer, so you will know why you need to buy and that you will not fail. http://https://www.howtobecomeaplumber.org/" rel="nofollow - A plumber has to be good at math and knows how to create and read blueprints , so I'm sure he'll give you the best advice and help. In general, you could also ask him about pipe fitting so as not to fail. It's worth asking for advice. I hope my recommendation was helpful to you.

 Where ?

It was long enough ago that I don't remember any of this or what I was doing, so I must have got it all done.

This 80+ years and my memory is slipping.

  Thanks,
  Dusty
