On my WD45 I replaced the gaskets and o ring in the hydraulic transport valve and when the lift arms go up and max out it still blows fluid out both sides of the transport valve. The tractor hadnt been ran for a couple of years and the PO. said it wasnt doing that when he last ran it. I assume the hydraulic pressure is to high. How do you adjust the pressure?

Adjusting the pressure requires removal and disassembly of the hydraulic pump. Now, you don't really know where the pressure is set at, you are guessing. Can't say I've ever had the situation of too many shims in the pump to make it more than 3400 psi. If that was the case, someone put them in there. It didn't magically happen by itself. Get a gauge and try and test it. I doubt that it is too high.

We had a WD that came into the shop.  Was blowing front end loader cylinders.  Checked the pressure and it was off the mark by a lot.  Took the pump apart and found a BALE of extra shims.  Pressure was well over 3400.  Owner said he wanted to lift a bigger load.
Pulled the shims out and worked fine.
Listen closely to what Dr. Allis says.  Could be true.
I remember repacking a transport valve and it solved the problem.
If yours is not Dr. Allis is probably correct.  Course that was before '62
Good Luck!

As soon as I can come up with pressure tester I will do that. If the pressure is not to high where is the problem the pump or the transport valve? Like i said I replaced all the seals in the transport valve. What else if anyting could be out of wack inside of the transport valve? Thanks for the replies I really appreciate it.

Try switching the lines around to the valve. Had a transport valve spray like that once when the lines got reversed.

Nathan nailed it. I had taken the lines lose to replace the hand clutch cover seal and hooked them back up backwards, switched them around and no more leaks. Thanks for all the help guys i really appreciate it.
