An ole boy gave me a recipe for jambalaya. Use two packs of Knorrs red beans and rice. Brown two 14 oz packs of hilshire farms kielbasa’s with one purple onion and one medium bell pepper. Add Tony C’s to taste. Boil 4 cups of water and 2 tbl spoons of olive oil add in the two packs of knorrs mix in the browned sausages and onion. Let boil a couple minutes then turn on low and let simmer until rice is tender. Jenny even liked it.

I built a house for some folks from Louisiana a few years back. The owners wife made jambalaya for my crew when we were done. I’ve been hooked ever since. Last night was close as I’ve got.

I got my recipe from my buddy's mother who lives in Slidell, LA. It's darn good. Use chicken thighs and smoked sausage, the holy trinity, diced tomatoes, garlic and rice. Made a batch a week ago for Fat Tuesday and fed 75 people at work.

Tony C is short for Tony Chachere's food brand. She just got a new ice cream maker.👍 You don’t have to get ice or salt. You freeze the mixing container and that makes the ice cream.

LOL, LOL, That reminds me,,,last year at the yearly Electric Coop get together,,,I won an electric Ice Cream maker and have never even opened the box,,,, Chit,,any more ,,unless you really likes homemade special Ice Cream,,it lots more frugal to go to walmart and buy a quart for less than the bag of ice you gonna need,,,,, "sides,,was I to make some ice cream,,I'd have to hide it from the Diabetic wife or eat it all myself on the sly,,,,,
