My Daughter and SIL gave me a Craftsman 20 volt circular saw and saws all for Christmas little did she know they didn't come with batteries, so closest Sears is 20 mi so went to local Lowes and bought 2 batteries and charger for $130.  Go home cut them out of the in destructible plastic put a battery on charge a couple of days later go out grab saws all and battery.......Don't fit....what! what! what in the sam hill is going on.....After looking in Sears there are 2 different 20 volt Craftsman tool lines,  Returned the batteries to Lowes, now back to Sears.............

I will say Lowes took them back without receipt and no package,  had charged them on Lowes card.  That is an advantage of using their card 30 day return no question..

I was at Menards sometime last December, found a box full of B&D battery stuff for $98.00. has a circular saw, recircular saw, work light, drill driver, something else, 2 batt's, charger, all 20V. used the circular saw today, boy does that thing like batteries! whew! also found out that cold batt's won't charge until you warm them up some.

My gripe is Craftsman has 2 different 20 volt batteries.....and the saws didn't have batteries or charger with them.......what the heck good is a saw without a BATTERY or a CORD???????????????

Everybody does it... They sell "KITS" with a drill , a couple batteries and a charger, and  flashlight for $100. - 150. ............ then you can ADD to the kit later by buying a saw, grinder, impact, etc.  .... If you want a lot of tools, the best bet is to buy a 5-6-7 tool set and you get a real break on the price..... Same with Dewalt or Milwak, or any.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
