I tapped into the hold valve with a gauge. I used the front port on the clutch pedal side.
The gauge shoots up to 2800-3000 psi when the lift arms top out. Then with the valve handle still in the full up position, the gauge drifts down to about 1800 psi after 10-20 seconds. Is this correct? Or is it a problem?

This WD won't lift much on the rear is the reason I even checked it.

Should be around 3600, otherwise normal.        MACK

Hi

Interesting, do you an idea what pressure it is for an ED40?

A .010 shim on the unloader spool will bring it right back to original if everything else is right.  My 45 is running about the same as yours. I left it, because I was too lazy to take the pump off for the 3rd time to get it back to 3500PSI.
