I try to frequent the AgWeb site(Farm Journal) as much as possible, but recently the pop-up ads are WAY out of control IMO. I don't even get a chance to punch in my zip code for weather or markets without "clicking" off of an ad Unhappy . This site is going the way of the COMBINE FORUM that I can't even get onto because of ads and apparently viruses according to my computer's security. Is there any way to block all of the bs ads on my end ?? Thanks

I just logged on to AgWeb for the 1st time and never got a pop-up. I could see how a daily user would get them by the dozen. I get dozens of crap messages from 1 camping site I opened up month ago. I can't get rid of them.   Good luck to you.

I must admit, all of the ads are crop/seed /chemical related, nothing clothing, vehicle or medicinal ads. Just seemed to happen in the past month or two.

Are they true pop-up windows or ads within the same page? What browser are you using, most of them have pop-up blockers. If you get firefox you can also download Ad-block Plus to take the ads off the page as well, never had a single pop-up or ad here.

I have AddBlocker on Mozilla, and several sites won't open unless you turn it off. Seems any time someone comes up with a good idea, somebody else figures how to force you to bypass it.

I have the same thing, decided if I have to see ads I don't need to see any of it. Think this has been running Chrome. Wink But that is  what smart kids are for LOL I break it,they fix it. But they can get to be just smart a.. and make me beg. But then I don't have time to watch the grandkids LOLLOLLOL well so far have not got that far.

If I was to click that turn off button, Confused will ad block be back when I go to another web site? Or do I have to know how to turn it back on. Cause I do not wanting to be without it.
